Job Overview
Our Business Research and Development Manager will be the ‘thinking hat’ of Navyam ventures. She/He will be responsible for developing the management’s business ideas as well as identifying new business opportunities in the market.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, Finance Marketing or Economics
- Prior experience in startups/funds is beneficial
- Active interest in the startup domain, locally and globally
- Passion for creating social impact through businesses
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse and interpret data.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identifying new business opportunities by monitoring market trends, analysing competitors and developing new products and service ideas
- Evaluating business ideas from scratch, doing market research and feasibility studies to shortlist focus areas for the venture fund
- Creating and implementing an execution plan that aligns with the company’s business ideas.
- Hiring & training new members in case if required, assigning them tasks & responsibilities and setting performance goals
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
